During this sprint we released Console backend components on our public github repo, made updates to JSON Messaging template, and made interface enhancements to help educate new users.
Features and Updates
- JSON Messaging template: users can use templates to customize messages that get sent from Integrations. Default JSON messages and corresponding templates for known decoders (Cayenne, and Browan) are provided.
- Released Console backend code (Packet Purchaser) on our public github, the first step to providing Console backend (Router) as open source, and enabling integration with other LoRaWAN Network Servers.
- Added syntax highlighting for custom script code editor.
- Additional help content added to educate new users: on main feature screens and tooltips for both Debug and Downlink.
- Direct link to release notes from Console version number.
Upcoming
The team’s focus in the coming weeks (usual disclaimers apply):
- Console custom notifications: provide email notifications for a number of conditions related to devices and integrations.
- Provide the ability to pay for additional packets for redundancy and location triangulation purposes.
- Include support for LoRaWAN adaptive data rate (ADR).
- Provide more information related to LoRaWAN commands in the Event log.
- Release Console and its backend network server and blockchain components (Router) as open source.
